Brianne and I met at a networking event; she is an accomplished photographer and graphic designer. How do I even begin to design florals for a wedding photographer? I wanted to get everything right and my thinking was the details were going to be very important. At consultation, we looked over lots of inspiration pictures and I looked over the Springs Venue layout and dimensions to get an idea of what mechanics I would need to execute the vision I proposed.
The Bouquet
The color palette was inspired by the bridesmaids’ dresses and the gorgeous wedding invitation that Brianne designed herself. A must have was eucalyptus, so I used a mix of both seeded and silver dollar. The focal flowers were gorgeous David Austin garden roses, they were so fragrant and the centers were large and textured. These were accented with white majolica spray roses and puto mayo carnations which provided the creamy, beige and earthy tones for an overall natural look.
The roses were perfect for detail shots like these:
The bridesmaids’ bouquets were a smaller match to the bride’s bouquet.
The Ceremony
Wild smilax always gives such an ethereal look! This arch was brilliantly photographed from both sides.
The bridal party was definitely show stopping with sharp outfits, boutonnieres and shoulder corsages.
Other details include aisle markers and open lanterns:
The Reception:
An acrylic welcome sign directed guests to the reception hall.
The tables were adorned with lighted wine bottles, wreathed lanterns and delicate greenery.
A eucalyptus garland was run along the bridal table and olive branches were used for cake decor.
A toss bouquet was provided so Brianne could keep and preserve her bridal bouquet.
It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of this celebration. Here are Brianne’s thoughts of her bridal flowers:
“I just want to start by saying thank you to Amogha! No amount of words can begin to say how talented and incredible she is! She is truly a master at what she does and I could not be more grateful to know her and have worked with her for multiple events. She was our florist for our wedding and did a PHENOMENAL job!! I explained to her what my vision was and she executed it flawlessly (she even put her own twist on things which I ended up loving more than what I had in mind!). She knows her florals and knows how to cater to her clients needs. Amogha is extremely professional and I’m so grateful to have had her for our wedding day. I highly recommend you choose her for your event/wedding. You will not regret it!!! Thank you for making our wedding day come to life and for being so incredible at what you do!”
What do you think? Did we nail this one?
